The Architectural Technologist job role itself where, as part of a talented team, you will be working on a wide and diverse range of projects, including heritage and multi residential projects producing drawings in AutoCAD, Photoshop & SketchUp for use in design building regulation compliance and planning purposes.
The role will provide you with opportunity to work on an extremely diverse range of scales and sectors supporting the technical team. As a key member of a relatively small team, their collaborative office environment provides an excellent platform to absorb the day-to-day workings of an architectural practice.
You will have
To be successful as Architectural Technologist, we are looking for an Architectural Technologist with ability in all RIBA Stages, although not universal. You will ideally have a healthy mix of the following:
- Listed Buildings, new developments, sustainable design
- AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp
- Apple MacBook, with use of Microsoft Office
- Technical detailing and working drawings
- Knowledge of the planning system and building regulations
- Contract administration
- Ability to take on responsibility, work independently and together in a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Full driving licence with use of own car
