Assistant Management Accountant - £32,000 - £37,000 (hybrid working), Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Trace are delighted to be partnering with a market leading business in Basingstoke, who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their busy and growing team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a part qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Accountant, who is looking to expand on their experience. This role is ideal for a detail orientated individual with strong knowledge and understanding of Finance processes.

About Your New Role:

  • Assist in the month end management accounts & journals – prepayments, accruals, fixed assets.
  • Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Maintenance of budget and forecast models.
  • Posting expenses, summarising payments, prepare paperwork for processing into the accounting records.
  • Support with the monthly payroll and provide the necessary information to the right people.
  • Assist on both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Carry out any administrative duties required and ad-hoc support where necessary.

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Studying towards CIMA / ACCA / ACA (Part Qualified)
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar position.
  • A strong understanding of financial processes.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong time management, planning & organisational skills, attention to detail and willingness to continuously learn and change.
  • Proactive self-starter and an excellent team player.
  • Good communication skills.
