Science Teacher
Location: Chesterfield, S43
Daily Rate: £145 - £210 (paid to teacher scale)
Full Time: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: September 2024

LTF Recruitment are working alongside a Secondary School based in Chesterfield who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Science, teaching both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to both KS3 and KS4
- Differentiating planning to meet a range of needs
- Delivering AQA KS4 examination content
- Assessing children's work against the school's assessment framework
- Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with EHCPs
- Attending weekly CPD sessions within school training programme
Candidate Requirements:
- Holds qualified teacher status (ECTs Welcome)
- Is confident teaching both KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum
- Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies
- Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make progress
