Property Services Officer

We are seeking a Property Services Officer to join our team, providing management services to our managed buildings and customers. This role requires a strong communicator and team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will be self-driven with a positive outlook, a natural forward planner who is mature, calm-natured, composed, and credible.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between customers, suppliers, visitors, enquirers, and relevant staff.
- Interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in person, and to verbal or written instructions.
- Maintain and update records/data and perform other routine clerical tasks as needed.
- Operate a variety of standard office machines and perform reception duties efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to health & safety procedures.
- Attend client meetings, inspect/carry out site visit reports, and meet clients and/or suppliers on site as appropriate.
- Manage and report on legal action taken against a customer or supplier.
- Order and maintain office equipment supplies and ensure office security and welfare.
- Assist in the communication and liaison of the estates and finance department, managing and delivering customer expectations.
- Manage internal records of insurance and compliance provisions, staff training, and approved suppliers.
- Plan and quality control works carried out to the managed portfolio, communicating with customers and suppliers, and monitor works instructions and pricing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
- A clean UK driving licence (use of pool car provided).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles.
