An established and inclusive SEN Specialist school based in Oxford city, Oxfordshire is opening its doors for September 2024.
As a Teaching Assistant - SEN, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, contributing to their academic and personal development. Your responsibilities will include working closely with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to implement individualised education plans and create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
£83 - £90 per day

Teaching Assistant - SEN requirements:
- Experience working as a SEN/SEND Teaching Assistant
- Strong knowledge of SEND and inclusive education
- Ability to work effectively with children who have additional needs
- Patient and empathetic approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have good spoken English
- Minimum of 6 months Primary experience
- Able to provide 2 or more references covering the last 2 years.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
Essential:
- Good literacy skills - GCSE Grade C or above in English Language; Level 2 English or above; or equivalent
- Good numeracy skills- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths; Level 2 Maths or above; or equivalent
Desirable for the Teaching assistant - SEN role:
- An honours degree (preferably Upper Second) or equivalent SEN qualification.
