Area Sales Manager - The Role:

to £40,000 + £10,000 bonus, hybrid company car, healthcare, 25 days holiday

The job holder will inherit an established customer base of appointed dealers and be tasked with:

  • Promote all products and accessories through an established network of dealers.
  • Planning and execute customer specific sales strategies.
  • Negotiation of trading terms and promotions that achieve margin targets.
  • Product demonstrations to dealers and end consumers.
  • Technical support to dealers across all brands.
  • Regular business reviews with customers.
  • Achieving agreed sales targets and KPIs.
  • High quality internal feedback and communication.

Area Sales Manager - The Candidate:

We are looking for an experienced and high calibre Area Sales Manager - ideally with field sales experience from within the garden machinery sector. Additional requirements are:

  • Good knowledge of the outdoor power sector and technical ability.
  • Evidence of a talent for sales, influencing and relationship building.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • A hands-on and thorough approach that builds huge customer confidence.
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • First class communication and product training skills.
  • A strong team player - sociable, gregarious and communicative.
