The Role
As a Warehouse Operative and Driver your role will be a mixture of general warehouse duties and visiting our customers sites to support the company's operational requirements. A typical day in the role will have varied duties from picking, packing and storage within the warehouse to some basic maintenance and installation of furniture, fixtures within the head office and or Sasse sites (i.e., picture hanging, changing lightbulbs, building pre-packed furniture, etc.)
Your key duties will include Delivery of Goods, Collection & Delivery of Laundry, supporting operations with Commissioning & decommissioning contracts, Picking, Packing and Shipping of Warehouse stocked items and ensuring the cleanliness of your vehicle & the warehouse.
Essential Requirements:
The role requires the Warehouse Operative & Driver to be a Full Manual UK license holder, the operative must have held their license for a minimum of 2 years. The employee shall hold no more than 3 penalty points.
The role will also require an enhanced security clearance in order to obtain access to the client's buildings. Successful completion of enhanced vetting will form a mandatory requirement of the probationary period. It would be preferable if you had a current forklift licence for Counter Balance and Bendi Trucks. This is not essential as training will be provided as part of the role if require.
