We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join a fantastic client of ours within the metal distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management, with a strong emphasis on audit processes and compliance. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Title: Quality Manager

Location: Sheffield, UK

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality assessments and inspections of products and processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and procedures.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in quality management practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the metal distribution or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in conducting and leading audits.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and other relevant quality regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
