We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are social housing providers who are based in Hampshire. We are seeking suitable candidates for a Repairs Surveyor role. This role requires a basic DBS. This role is available on a temporary basis in addition to a permanent basis.
Below is a summary of the role:
- Responsibility for the organization and overseeing the reactive maintenance and repairs of Council owned properties, in an efficient and effective manner
- To advise, diagnose and specify maintenance work required to mitigate disrepair challenges
- To diagnose and specify maintenance work required to eliminate damp and mould within the Councils housing stock
- Assist, when required, in carrying out condition surveys as part of the Council's wider stock condition/asset management plan.
- Survey evaluate, program, implement, oversee, and certify schedules of work within the district in empty (void) properties, including quality control inspections.
- Prepare and present reports of professional advice to the Responsive Maintenance Manager/Housing Services Service Lead and stakeholders as required
