Human Resources Manager

We are working with a leading international law firm who are seeking an experienced HR professional. As a HR manager you will provide comprehensive HR consultation, guidance, and support to firm management and personnel.

You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the firm to understand the business, identify and anticipate personnel-related needs, as well as advise and educate on HR-related matters.

This role ensures that firm-wide and local policies, practices, and procedures are appropriately adopted and carried out in assigned locations and contributes to the formulation of those policies or practices where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to firm management, providing expert HR consultation and support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and anticipate personnel-related requirements.
  • Advise and educate management and employees on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop and implement HR solutions that align with the firm's strategic goals and address personnel-related challenges.
  • Ensure the adoption and consistent application of firm-wide and local HR policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of HR policies and practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Support recruitment efforts by partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive integration experience.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR to ensure the firm remains competitive and compliant with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
