Description

  • Conducting fire safety inspections of buildings
  • Working closely with the construction team to ensure safety regulations are followed
  • Providing expert advice on fire safety measures
  • Developing fire safety plans and procedures
  • Training staff on fire safety procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant fire safety regulations
  • Preparing safety reports for management
  • Responding to fire safety incidents in a timely and effective manner

Profile

A successful Building Safety Officer (Fire) should have:

  • A certification or degree in Fire Safety or a related field
  • Experience working in the Not For Profit sector
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations
  • Experience working with construction teams
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • A proactive approach to fire safety
