We are seeking an Shipping Coordinator to join our market leading manufacturing client located in Macclesfield. This role involves creating invoices, credit notes, and release documentation for finished goods or customer returns. The coordinator will also be responsible for notifying shippers of goods ready for dispatch and providing the necessary documentation for effective transportation to customers.

Day to day of the role:

  • Raising invoices for finished goods as advised by Despatch.
  • Creating release documentation for finished goods in line with customer and quality requirements.
  • Processing customer returns and raising credit notes as directed by the customer service team.
  • Compiling and administering Customs Forms and shipping lists.
  • Generating shipping documentation for finished goods.
  • Obtaining transport details and communicating them to customer service and customers.
  • Maintaining and recording all shipping transactions with the relevant documentation.
  • Filing all relevant shipping documentation.
  • Taking initiative and working independently when required.
  • Upholding the company's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Promoting activities that improve company performance and reduce environmental impact.
  • Assisting despatch as and when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in an Invoicing, Shipping, or general administration role is advantageous.
  • Minimum secondary education level qualifications.
  • Strong communication skills in both oral and written formats.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computing, particularly Microsoft Office suite.
