Our client a leading provider of grounds maintenance are looking to recruit a Landscape Operative to join their busy team based in Wickford.
The role will be working largely on occupied new build properties so candidates will need to be well presented and have good communication skills.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Planting
- Turfing (including re-turfing)
- Barking
- Hard landscaping
- A full range of horticultural work as and when required
- Report & return any broken machinery to your line manager
- Ensure skips are loaded correctly, both general waste skip and green waste skips
- Ensure to record work completed on the companies digital systems.
- Complete any required paperwork such as maps, tick sheets and signing in paperwork.
Skills, Experience and Competencies
- Previous landscaping experience
- A full UK Driving Licence
- Good eye for detail
- The ability to work independently
- Reliable, energetic and enthusiastic with a determined, flexible "can do" attitude
The working hours are Monday to Friday 7am-4pm.
Salary is £26,000 - £28,000 per annum.
The client will undertake a DBS check for the successful candidate appointed in the position.
