Warehouse Operative

SF Recruitment are recruiting for a warehouse operative to join our established client based in Shepshed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and Process Stock: Unload, inspect, and record incoming deliveries, ensuring all products are accurately checked and stored.
- Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack orders for dispatch, following company guidelines and customer requirements.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock control and inventory checks, maintaining accurate records of all warehouse activities.
- Operate Warehouse Equipment: Safely operate forklifts (Flexi), pallet trucks, and other warehouse tooling, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet daily targets and ensure the smooth running of warehouse operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse role is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in a compliant environment, with a strong focus on detail.
- Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
- Forklift Licence: A valid forklift licence (Flexi) is preferred. Conversion training could be provided for the right candidate.
- Product assembly: Occasionally assist in the assembly or pre-assembly of products as required, following specific manufacturing instructions and quality standards.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Basic IT Skills: Comfortable using warehouse management systems and basic computer software. A tablet will be provided to perform IT related tasks
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the warehouse, ensuring personal safety and the safety of others at all times. To report any issues to the Warehouse Manager
