Complaints Handler

Days: Monday-Friday, 35 hours p/w

JRRL are seeking a Complaints Handler for their FCA client in Bromley to aid with the resolution of complaints. You will be responsible for ensuring FCA compliance when recording administration of complaints procedure.

Main Duties

  • Resolution for all manner of complaints, adhering to Service Level Agreement.
  • Maintain complaint records.
  • Liaise with Financial Ombudsman Service in respect to referred complaints.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of complaint-handling procedures.
  • Liaise with the Customer Services department.
  • Assist with Complaint Management Information Reporting.
  • Work closely with the relevant management teams to identify the root cause of a complaints.
  • Ensure corrective action is undertaken to resolve complaints in a timely manner.

Person specification

  • 2-3 years' experience within financial services, insurance, legal, accountancy or another highly regulated office environment would be advantageous.
  • Previous complaints handling experience, ideally within a regulated environment.
  • Comfortable working in a compliant environment.
  • Ability to remain professional when dealing with contentious issues.
  • Professional qualification within finance or insurance would be desirable.
