My client is a leading provider of smart store solutions, serving industries such as retail, pharmacy, healthcare and entertainment. With solutions deployed in thousands of stores globally my client empowers their customers to overcome in-store challenges and create exceptional customer experiences through cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive solution selling into the big four UK supermarket chains (Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons) and other key retail segments.
- Conduct client presentations and workshops, leading pricing discussions and negotiations.
- Build alliances with relevant product and service vendors to support company growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across retail segments such as grocery, DIY, and pharmacy in the UK and Ireland.
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key customers and ecosystem partners.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for the UK region.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve order fulfilment efficiency and forecasting accuracy.
- Research market trends and develop strategic business plans aligned with monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Work closely with international colleagues across presales, supply chain, after-sales, and marketing functions.
- Attend retail exhibitions and industry events to promote my client's solutions and values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of solution selling and consistently exceeding targets.
- Successful experience selling into large retail organizations, ideally with exposure to major UK supermarket chains.
- Expertise in managing the full sales process, from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry knowledge.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, and managing people effectively.
- Committed to continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
