Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Hospitality Assistant/Cook for our client based in Ryhill, Wakefield, WF4.
Hospitality Assistant/Cook Benefits:
- Hours: 24 hours per week - Example rota below:
Monday - Off/ Tuesday - 5pm to 9pm/ Wednesday - 9am to 4pm/ Thursday - Off/ Friday - 11am to 4pm/ Saturday - 9am to 1pm/ Sunday - 9am to 1pm
**Flexibility is required with the hours/rota and will be discussed at Interview stage**
- Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour

Hospitality Assistant/Cook Duties:
- Kitchen duties including preparing food from a basic bar menu
- Working behind the bar providing an excellent level of customer service, collecting glasses and keeping the area clean and tidy throughout trading
- Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations
- Supporting team members with the cleaning of the centre before opening and throughout trading
- Maintaining all legal / health & safety requirements that the centre has in place
- Complying with food hygiene standards
- Completing relevant checks and maintaining records
- Operating a till and handling cash
- Customer service
Hospitality Assistant/Cook Criteria:
- Previous experience in the Hospitality/Catering role ideally within Food and Beverage - essential
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking - essential
- Food Hygiene certificate - preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary practices
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional and approachable
- Passionate about customer service
- Excellent team player and able to work alone
