A market leading 3PL business based in Spalding is looking to hire a Transport Administrator on nights to help support their business in their plans for exponential growth.
The Role - Transport Administrator
Reporting to the Transport Manager, the new Transport Administrator will be a point of contact for the office during the night shift. You will have the responsibility of responding and reacting to any driver or customer requirements during the shift. For most of your time however you will be carrying out administration activities relating to the transport operation.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing WTDs, drivers' hours and other legislation.
- Proof of Delivery (POD) Administration
- Compliance administration
- Tracking. telematics, WTDs
- Invoicing
- Re-planning routes when required
- Communicating with drivers when required
- Communicating with customers when required
Working hours
4 on 4 off, Permanent Nights 18:00 - 06:00

The Skills Required - Transport Administrator
The ideal candidate for the Transport Administrator on nights role will have performed already in a similar role within logistics. They will also have skills and experiences clearly demonstrated in their CV in the following:
- 2 years + transport office experience
- Be comfortable with a permanent night shift, 4 on 4 off
- Experience in a 3PL / Haulier is advantageous
- Have had some experience of planning routes, displayed clearly on your CV
- Be comfortable and familiar with speaking to drivers and customers
- MS Excel proficient user
- Familiar with transport administration
- Enjoy working by themselves in a responsible position
- Able to commute daily to Spalding
