Location: Remote working with travel to Warwickshire as required

£450.00 Per Day Inside IR35 via Umbrella

This is an exciting opportunity with a leading, Midlands based financial services provider for an enthusiastic and experienced SACM Analyst to join the SACM Team on a 6 - 12 month contract.

The role requires keen data analyst skills, a passion to learn new technologies and help drive change with a willingness to engage with business areas.

You will be part of and contribute to the development and delivery of a high-quality SACM Service. You'll work in a service integration and management (SIAM) model and essential to your success will be the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a variety of suppliers, both internal and external, and business stakeholders.

Your role will be to review and document existing processes and identify changes to deliver the implementation of improved policies and standards governing IT Asset Management, and govern and support the processes regarding the effectiveness of the CMDB. Tracking progress and variation across changing states of CI's ensuring these are recorded.

Ideal experience -

  • IT Asset Management experience and industry best practices in identifying areas that need improving or updating
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the role of SACM within an ITIL based organisation
  • Ability to interpret and manipulate CMDB data into meaningful reports to meet key stakeholder requirements
  • Support teams in the population CI's into the CMDB and auditing to maintain the accuracy of the CMDB
  • Experience of working within IT Asset Management, using ServiceNow and discovery tools
  • Experience of working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams with a delivery focus in both project and operational environments
  • Experience of automating reports
  • Microsoft Office experience, particularly in the use of Excel to analyse complex datasets
  • Ability and confidence to take charge of diverse tasks and deliver high quality work in a challenging and ever-changing environment
  • Ability to prioritise own workload under pressure from a high volume of work and conflicting priorities
