Elevation Accountancy and Finance are thrilled to be partnering with a fantastic business in Worksop as they search for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of cashbooks and cashflow planning
- Maintenance of purchase ledger/sales ledger and accounts payable/receivable
- Month end journal processing
- Accruals and prepayments
- Assist in the production of Management Accounts / MIS reports as required
- Credit Management
- Day to day accounting and bookkeeping activities, data entry, general ledger reconciliations
- Routine accounting task
Person Specification:
- Strong background in accountancy and finance
- Coupled with a flexible attitude
- Readiness to hit the ground running
- Previous experience with month-end management accounts duties
