Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Wakefield who are recruiting a Payroll Assistant to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for a full-time position (37.5 hours). They have flexible working hours and training will be provided if necessary
Location: Wakefield (office based)
Salary: £12.26 per hour
Working Hours: 30 hours – flexible Monday-Friday
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Input starters
- Calculate salaries for starters
- Process p45s
- Process monthly payroll
- Keep distributers and managers up to date with any changes
- Investigate and resolve any queries
- Process overtime and input working hours
- Send off reports
You will need to demonstrate:
- A keen eye for detail
- Experience working within a finance environment or similar role
- A good work ethic
- Keen to learn new skills
