This position seeks a Finance Analyst who is adept at providing financial and analytical support to the Accounting and Finance department in the not-for-profit and charities industry.

Our client is a not-for-profit and charities organisation based in Sale.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Finance Analyst will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Providing business support and partnering with budget holders.
  • Providing relevant management information to budget holders, building relationships between finance and partner functions.
  • Assist in the preparation of management, statutory accounts and key performance indicators.
  • Support the finance team in the development of financial models and budgets.
  • Provide financial analysis for new and existing projects.
  • Ensure financial compliance with relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in the production of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide financial support and training to development and sales staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve financial processes and systems.

Profile

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • Not for Profit and Charities sector desirable.
  • Accounting experience related to Development & Sales.
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Advanced in Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
