Proof Reader - Work from Home

Overview

Work from home is only available after training (3 months) - Please consider this when applying. You will be required to work from our practice in Witney, Oxfordshire or from Banbury, Oxfordshire. You must also be available to work from either location upon request.

Due to the continued expansion of our private psychology services, we are excited to be able to recruit a proof reader for our practice. The position is advertised as part-time (14 hours paid) between the hours of 9am and 8pm, two days a week (Monday to Friday), however we are open to the possibility of the right candidate joining us that may require a more flexible hours approach.

The successful candidate may be offered more hours should they want them and subject to a successful probationary period of 3 months.

Following initial training the successful candidate may work from home or from our practice at Worton Park, Witney, Oxfordshire. A work computer will be provided.

The Family Practice Group is a private multi-disciplinary psychology practice based in Witney, Oxfordshire and provides a range of services to both private clients and the NHS for adults and children to access. We currently employee a small team of administrative staff who support our team of clinicians including psychologists, therapists and other health care practitioners.

We specialise in Autism Spectrum and Trauma and have clients from all over the UK.

We require a dynamic and adaptable proof reader to read and review reports. You will be a highly motivated, hardworking and organised individual with excellent communication skills and preferably have some experience in the medical /healthcare industry, however, full training on the type of documents you will proof read will be provided.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our reports are reviewed thoroughly to check for errors with spelling and grammar. You will also be required to check key information on client cases to ensure the reports meet our high expectations.

Full training will be provided on the subject matter that you will be working within.
