What You Will Do:
- Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and scheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Analyse production data to recommend improvements for efficiency and waste reduction while maintaining product quality.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Train staff on new equipment and processes, enhancing team capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and track spare parts using the in-house system.
- Adhere to the highest standards of health and safety, food safety, and hygiene.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and production processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A collaborative team player who is adaptable to different manufacturing IT systems.
