Early Years Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:
- Provide essential support to children with SEN needs, particularly those with mild autism.
- Work closely with the class teacher and two other teaching assistants to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Support children's social and emotional development, fostering a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Help monitor and record the progress of each child, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Early Years Teaching Assistant - Requirements:
- Experience working with young children, particularly those with SEN, is highly desirable.
- CACHE Level 3 qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with children.
- A dedicated and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the classroom and provide assistance where needed.
