This is a well run, modern academy that is proud of it's inclusive pupil base and commitment to all staff to create a balanced work / life mix. This is a school focused on empowering students to understand and actively participate in their education and school community. Due to a resignation and growth within the department the school are looking to appoint 2x English Teachers to start in January and teach across key stages 3 and 4.
Duties: As an English Teacher your responsibilities will include:
- ** Planning and delivering lessons to include pupils of all abilities within your lesson, and encourage pupils to understanding the importance of English
- ** Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect for all
- ** Assess student progress and providing constructive feedback for growth and improvement to Faculty leads and parents
- ** Develop and implement your teaching strategies to best impact the needs of your learners
- ** Collaborating with colleagues and the English Department to contribute to the development of the curriculum and extracurricular activities
