JOB TITLE: Humanities Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education)

PAY: £130 - £210.00 Per Day

Humanities Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Geography, History or general Humanities lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Incorporate technology and hands-on activities to enhance the learning experience.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular learning opportunities.

Humanities Teacher Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, History, Humanities or a related field.
  • Teaching certification (QTS OR PGCE).
  • Proven experience teaching Geography, History or general Humanities subjects.
  • Strong knowledge of geographical, Historical or general humanities concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for geography and a commitment to student success.
