Junior Account Manager
Due to continued growth our client is looking for a confident and outgoing individual to join them as a Junior Account Manager, based in Sutton.
Working alongside the current National Account Manager you will initially join as an assistant where you will help with current accounts and general day to day tasks while learning about the business and products.
Once you have done this you will then have the opportunity to generate your own clients and business by driving sales and as time progresses will move into an account manager position yourself with the scope to take over current accounts and become the National Account Manager in years to come.
This role is ideal for someone with some sales experience who is looking to move into account management position that offers genuine career progression in a friendly successful business.
Salary: Year 1 base salary of £22,308
(based on zero commission but commission paid if earned)
Year 2 on target salary expectations of £25k + uncapped commission
Year 3 onwards £27-30k + uncapped commission
Duties will include:
- Read & action National Account Manager inbox in her absence
- Speak with & assist clients in National Account Manager absence
- Assist with quotations, appointment sheets & other documents & processes as required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their unique needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop strategies to achieve sales targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market, presenting our products and services to potential clients
- Conduct negotiations with clients to secure favourable terms and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
Ideal candidate will:
- Be an outgoing, friendly and driven individual.
- Be keen to undergo continuous training to learn the products to ensure the best earning potential
- Enjoy socialising on behalf of the business and attending networking events
- Happy to travel for client meetings- mainly London
- Ideally will have previous sales experience, or a desire to establish yourself in a sales role.
