Are you an experienced Credit Control Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic Credit Control department? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in providing billing and administrative support across multiple group entities within our organisation.

About the Role:

You will be an integral part of our Credit team, ensuring the prompt and efficient collection of outstanding invoices. Your focus will be on reducing debtor days and improving cash collection performance. You will be responsible for various tasks including cash collection, billing, data processing, and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Collection:

  • Reconcile cash received and ensure prompt posting and accurate allocation across multi-currency accounts.
  • Monitor trends and provide reports on unallocated cash positions.
  • Monitor daily cash received to ensure accurate reporting.

Billing:

  • Process self-billing invoices within tight timescales, ensuring attention to detail.
  • Prepare and reconcile applications for payment.
  • Ensure all relevant invoices are raised on client partner portals in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process intercompany and other recharges.
  • Process credit notes in line with Group policy.

Data Processing:

  • Create and amend client master data, ensuring all necessary checks and approvals are in place.
  • Provide reports to ensure the client master data is accurate and up-to-date.

Account Management:

  • Deliver a high level of professional service to clients in all interactions.
  • Provide monthly statements to clients.

Daily Operations:

  • Review daily sales ledger reconciliations with the Credit Manager/Head of Credit Control.
  • Complete invoicing in line with period end and month end reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain high-quality information on shared drives, readily available to senior management.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in a similar position within a large B2B organisation.
  • Experience working to deadlines with the ability to effectively prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including intermediate level Excel (ability to use pivot tables, v-lookups etc).
  • High degree of organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and produce high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to form relationships with stakeholders, leaving a positive impression of the department.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • A process-driven approach, with the ability to identify improvements and opportunities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to new processes and procedures.
  • Excellent team player with a proactive and committed approach.

In the initial training period, you will be required to work onsite at our HQ in Salford, with the ability to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week in the office) once you are confident in the role and duties.
