JOB- Production / Manufacturing Supervisor
LOCATION-
West Wickham
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £30,000 - £
45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are looking for a Production or Manufacturing Supervisor / Manager for a manufacturer based in West Wickham / Croydon area within the engineering manufacturing sector. This could be well suited to anyone has exposure to electronics, assembly or similar manufacturing processes.
The Manufacturing / Production Supervisor will ideally have the following attributes:
- Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience
- Previous experience working in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Capable of leading a team of technicians / operatives.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing business
- Understanding of KPI monitoring
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
- Good problem-solving skills
- Exposure to lean manufacturing – beneficial but not needed
- Familiar with Electronics products and processes (soldering, PCB's, SMT, Component manufacturing, through hole soldering etc) - advantageous
The Production / Manufacturing Supervisor role will involve:
- Overseeing the production team and ensuring work is carried out effectively.
- Monitoring KPI's and ensuring targets are met
- Reporting back to manufacturing manager on any issues
- Liaising with other departments where necessary
- Tackling any issues that may arise throughout production
