Job Opportunity: Behaviour Administrator at Little Lever Secondary School
Are you adept at building relationships with young people and managing student behaviour? Little Lever Secondary School is looking for a committed Behaviour Administrator to join our team. This role involves working closely with students who have been given detentions or isolation and liaising with parents to ensure a supportive and cohesive approach to student behaviour.
Position: Behaviour Administrator
Location: Little Lever Secondary School, Little Lever
Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Salary: Up to £100 per day
Contract: Maternity cover for the full academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer student behaviour records, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Liaise with parents regarding student behaviour and progress, fostering strong home-school relationships.
- Work directly with students who have been assigned detentions or isolation, providing support and guidance.
- Implement and uphold the school's behaviour policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and senior leadership to support a positive school environment.
- Utilize SIMS (School Information Management System) for recording and tracking student behaviour (experience with SIMS is advantageous).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships with young people.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with SIMS is advantageous but not essential.
