We have teamed up with a growing charitable company, based in Whiteley, who are on the lookout for an Accounts Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will lead and support a team of three finance professionals, ensuring efficient management of supplier queries and financial processes.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and management to a team of three finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
- Completing monthly ledger evaluations to review performance
- Identifying overdue debts and agreeing further action
- Ensuring payments of all supplier invoices are accurate, in line with supplier terms and on time
- Managing internal escalation of any queries and ensuring they are dealt with and resolved effectively
- Resolution of any payment and invoicing issues with suppliers
- Accurate and timely processing, approval and payment of expenses
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Accounts Supervisor / Accounting Team Leader / Senior Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant Team Leader / Assistant Accountant / Accounts Team Manager / Finance Manager
- Strong people management skills and experience
- To be a confident communicator, able to liaise with a range of stakeholders
- A collaborative approach to teamwork
