Reed Epsom Business Support are supporting our client with the recruitment of a Logistics Administrator role, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of our products to customers worldwide. Your responsibilities will encompass various facets of the supply chain, from processing orders and meticulously selecting and packaging products to coordinating with courier companies for the client deliveries.

You would excel in customer service, logistics management, and administration, all while maintaining a keen eye for detail and adhering to quality standards.

Essential Job Functions

In this Lo gistics Administrator position, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing of customer orders received via our e-commerce system or manually raised order
  • Assembly of products into secondary packaging according to customer requirements and Company method manuals Generation of despatch documentation
  • Dispatching of products globally
  • Order tracking and fulfilment ex-works
  • Liaison with courier companies, and customers to ensure on-time delivery of goods
  • Negotiation of contracts with courier companies for cost-effective delivery

General Responsibilities

  • General administrative tasks – management of logistics room, stock levels etc
  • Co-ordination with the Production team to ensure a smooth order fulfilment process Monitoring and reporting of logistics metrics eg customer satisfaction, order fulfilment, and courier costs
  • Ensuring products are selected in a timely manner so that goods are delivered within expected service levels
  • Inspection of all materials received to ensure they meet company specifications
  • Monitoring and communication of stock levels to ensure stock is available at all times
  • Responsibility for the quality assurance of all products received from the production team and checking that they meet the specifications for each product
  • Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates for each shipment
  • Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries
  • Respond to any issues or complaints regarding the shipment of goods
  • Documentation of logistics procedures and operations
  • Ensure all logistics operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements

Salary & Working Conditions

  • Salary Negotiable
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
  • Office based in Leatherhead office.
  • 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays
