Hyperloop Recruitment are working with an ambitious tech company who are looking for a Data Tech Lead to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will be a trusted source of technical knowledge across the team, collaborating with leading stakeholders to promote knowledge sharing & champion best possible solutions to big data challenges.
You will act as a mentor for the less experienced Data Engineers amongst the team & possess excellent hands-on data engineering coding skills across Scala, Java or Python.
Key skills and tech:
- High-level proficiency with at least one coding language associated with data engineering (Scala preferable)
- Minimum 12 months commercial experience in a leadership role
- Ability to coach & mentor junior/mid-weight team members
- Python
- Java
- ETL
- Git
- DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Bash)
- Automated testing frameworks such as PyTest, ScalaTest and SQL
- Degree educated (desirable)
The role will be hybrid with 1-2 days pw in Liverpool & is paying up to £90,000 (DOE) + a strong benefits package. To apply, click here!
