Head of ESG : The Head of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) will serve a key role in implementing and driving forward our Environmental, Social and Governance strategy across the entire Ageas UK business including creating and executing a global ESG strategy, managing ESG data and content collection and validation processes for various stakeholder groups including the UK and across Ageas Group.

This role is a Fixed-term contract until 31st May 2025, and we ideally need someone to start on or before 1st September 2024.

Main Responsibilities as Head of ESG :

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability across their business processes and decision-making.
  • Identifying opportunities and establishing partnerships with external organisations to support the delivery of Ageas UK's environmental and societal ambitions.
  • Responsible for completing and submitting all ESG reporting requirements, including reporting to the Ageas UK Executive team and Board and supporting Ageas Group in submissions to ESG ratings agencies and external benchmarking.
  • Maintain ownership of the Ageas UK ESG strategy, ensuring pillar leads are driving forward actions, updating deliverables and milestones when relevant and leading on some pillars.
  • Supporting our approach to climate change transition.

Skills and experience you need as Head of ESG:

  • 10+ years' experience of shaping, providing input and driving the direction of a company's ESG strategy.
  • Educated to degree level in an ESG related subject.
