If you're a Finance Manager feeling frustrated by a lack of autonomy, disappointed that your fast-track career has stalled, or concerned that your current employer is no longer investing to develop their operations or you, then this could role for a UK Financial Controller could be your next step.

What's in it for you

Here you'll be the financial lead for all UK Operations and Supply Chain for a global business with UK revenues of over £120m.

You'll be a critical co-pilot to the UK Manufacturing, Raw Materials, Procurement and Distribution teams, providing financial support, insight and challenge as the business seeks to drive revenue towards £200m.

Having invested over £40m locally in the last three years, you'll support the business's growth journey (and yours) as it continues to diversify its product range and production capabilities.

Whilst you'll report to the UK Finance Director, you'll be the number one in finance on-site at their manufacturing facility in Teesside, giving you autonomy and accountability.

In addition to a basic salary in the region of £70,000 - £75,000 p.a., you'll also receive a car allowance of £5,700, an annual bonus plus a comprehensive benefits package.

The Role

You'll lead a finance team of two staff and interact with stakeholders at all levels across the site, group and international teams.

You will play a key role in driving growth with a broad range of responsibilities including financial accounting, performance reporting, financial planning and decision support analysis, financial controls, product and cost control, and inventory management.

The role will encompass operational and strategic decisions and the coaching and development of your team.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need a finance background from a manufacturing environment.

Whilst your team will take care of material and demand planning analysis, stock valuations, capital expenditure, cost accounting and accounting for production, you'll need to support them, so your background in manufacturing will prove vital.

You'll be comfortable operating at a senior level, taking ownership and wanting to make a difference.
