Job Title: Account Executive

Part-time/Full Time

£25,000- £30.000

Main purpose of the job

Timely, accurate and effective administration of ECB Healthcare Trust, TASS Medical schemes and Rugby accounts, involving assessment against scheme specific benefit limits, eligibility, and rules.

Principal duties

  • Administer English Cricket Board Scheme, Talented Athlete Scheme, Rugby Client Accounts
  • Manage cheque runs.
  • Deal with customer enquiries, by telephone or email.
  • Address queries on invoices on these schemes.
  • Provide analysis on schemes as and when requested.
  • Provide cover for other employees when required.
  • Assist with directing incoming post.

Cricket, Rugby and TASS accounts - principal duties

  • Accurately record all contact from members and clubs, all notifications of treatment.
  • Documenting calls and updating inhouse system with notes
  • Flagging any potential issues with Providers or high-cost claims
  • Eligibility checks - Check membership criteria, claims and provider pricing, scheme agreements or specific TASS network; communicate this clearly to clients.
  • Data input – accurate invoice processing and where necessary further investigation into treatment.
  • Writing to members with advice, claim forms and subsequent management of these
  • Inputting data for membership, producing membership reports for sports clubs and sending out membership documents.
  • Invoice Queries – involves identification of provider errors, advice to providers, bank checks and credits and re-issue.
  • Cheque Runs – checking, sending payments and producing relevant reports.
  • All enquiries – by phone or by email - Recording pre-notifications for players & advising non-players on eligibility and authorising if appropriate.
  • Analysis – regular and ad-hoc scheme and club analysis as required.
  • Support all accounts and business areas as required.

Person Specification

Good communication skills, written and verbal.

Analytical skills, understanding and use of excel spreadsheets.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Knowledge/exposure to medical conditions and medical terminology

Knowledge of data protection/GDPR rules and applying these to every aspect of the role

Organisational skills; being able to manage your own workload efficiently.

Ability to Learn and understand schemes rules and benefits and applying them against each specific scheme

Application of rules and benefits to daily processing tasks.

Knowledge and application of pricing agreements at Health Partners agreed levels, scheme at local club level.

Empathy with member's treatment requirements where non-sports related and application of appropriate level of claims adjudication irrespective of claim type and sensitivity.

Interpersonal skills to deal with sometimes contentious issues with high profile people.

Able to work as part of a team and independently.

Willingness to assist with any duties required to support the business.
