We are seeking an Assistant Accountant (Corporate) who will thrive in the property industry, supporting the Accounting & Finance department in their daily operations and strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of numeracy, attention to detail and a methodical approach to their work.

12 month Fixed Term Contract, hybrid working, City Centre location

up to £25k plus bens

Description

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Updating and maintaining the clients accounting system in relation to invoices and purchase orders to ensure the timely processing and payment of supplier invoices.
  • Partnering with the clients Accounts Payable team to provide the client and suppliers with support
  • Assisting the Corporate Accountants with month-end and quarter-end financial reporting tasks

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant (Corporate) should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with financial software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
