People Practice Development Training Manager

About the Role:

As the People Practice Development Training Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs and initiatives to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of colleagues and managers. Reporting directly to the Manager, People Practice Development, you will manage a team of five roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the reflective, psychologically/trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centered, resilience-building, and recovery-oriented practices.
  • Ensure teams and individuals are skilled to meet service needs!
  • Assess training needs, developing and implementing training programs and then evaluating effectiveness for continued improvement.
  • Join the Southdown Planning Forum responsible for contributing to the development of Southdown's business plan.
  • Lead in The Southdown Way by upholding our values and fostering a psychologically informed environment.
