Multi Drop Delivery Van Driver
Hours: Approximately 09:30 AM - 16:30 PM (with potential for early finishes around 15:00)
My client in Prestwich is seeking a dedicated Multi Drop Delivery Van Driver. This role involves driving around the North West, delivering to various locations. The position is job and knock, meaning once your deliveries are complete, your day is finished.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage and complete daily delivery routes.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery van.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Load and unload goods as required, ensuring secure and safe handling.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Handle delivery documentation and process returns or exchanges when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding any issues or delays.
- Monitor and report any vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements:
- Smart casual dress code (no shorts) as you will be meeting customers.
- No points on your driving license (checks will be conducted).
- Must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.
- Good physical stamina, as the job may require lifting and moving packages.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- A reliable and professional attitude towards work.
