I am looking for a Repairs and Voids Manager to join a social housing provider in the West Midlands. The Repairs and Voids Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the work force, ensuring efficient management of void properties and repair processes. This is a Temp to Perm position based from the office 5 days per week
Repairs and Voids Manager duties:
- Oversee the repairs and voids services, ensuring reduced void periods and optimize repairs scheduling
- Direct line management of a supervisor who oversees the trades team
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance activities follow relevant regulations and standards
- Effectively manage void and repair budgets to ensure cost effective maintenance
What is required for the role:
- Experience working in a similar role
- Experience working within a social housing setting
- Ability to collaborate with external contractors and in house teams
- Strong understanding of repairs and maintenance processes
