Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Greater Manchester (WN2) - REMOTE ROLE
Salary: £35k
Shifts : Mon- Thurs 08:00- 16:30, Friday 08:00- 12:30
Contract: Temp Ongoing (Possibly Permanent)
The Company/Role
Our client is one of the UK's leading Electrical Manufacturing businesses, who are a subsidiary of the global company Siemens.
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to work remotely, however, must also be flexible to attend site during the Month End processing.
This is an ongoing temporary position which may become permanent for the right candidate.
As the Assistant Management Accountant, your duties will be:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts pack.
- Month end analyses of GL, Accrual & Prepayments.
- Reconcile central charges.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation.
- Assist with budgeting & forecasting processes.
- Support monthly, quarterly and year end activities.
The ideal Assistant Management Accountant will hold the following skills and experiences:
- Must be part qualified or working towards ACCA/CIMA.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
- Excellent MS Excel skills.
- A positive, pro-active attitude with good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail
