Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to kickstart their engineering career. You'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and the chance to work on exciting projects that contribute directly to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of products/processes.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on ongoing projects.
- Learn and apply industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of work.
- Visiting sites and building up sales quotations.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: A degree in Engineering (Ideally mechanical, manufacturing, automotive).
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication, and a willingness to learn.
- Experience: No previous experience required, though internships or project experience in an engineering environment is a plus.
- Attributes: Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player with a keen interest in the industry.
- Additionally fully right to work in the UK (no sponsorship needed), valid driver's license & living within commutable distance from Burton.
