Sales Support Assistant

We seek 2 x experienced Customer Service persons who can join this small but very dedicated Customer Care team.

This as a fixed term 6 month contract and I am seeking 2 experienced customer services professionals to start ASAP

You will be supporting UK and Internatioanl clients and your duties could include:

Within a small and dedicated Customer Care team, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding quickly and positively to customer enquiries, by telephone or email, always following up and exceeding customer expectations

  • Processing customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently:

  • Liaising with the customer to confirm availability, pricing, shipping details etc to ensure that their needs are met and exceeded.

  • Collaborating internally with other departments regarding credit, stock, production lead times, shipping

  • Taking credit card payments

  • Raising proforma invoices

  • Calculating freight costs

  • Promptly communicating any changes to orders, both internally and externally: keeping customers fully updated with the progress of their orders.

  • Working closely with our UK and International Business Development Managers to help to win new business, grow existing business and maximise profitability.

  • Updating Sales Force CRM system with customer communications and information.

  • Ensuring correct pricing information and customer details are logged on Syspro ERP system.

  • Supporting the team with general administrative dutie

  • Proven customer focus and service background

  • Accurate data entry

  • Liaison with various departments key to manufacturing processes

  • Key account administration

Skills/Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills

  • Confident and positive telephone manner (responding to calls from all over the world)

  • Excellent organisation skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Customer focused problem solving

  • Computer literate – experience in using Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
