Role: Senior Project Manager Salary/Rate: market rates (inside IR35) Location: Aldermaston Contract Duration: until 31/3/26
We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager for our government client. This Senior Project Manager role is based mainly on site in Aldermaston, with potential for 1 day per fortnight working remotely.
The contract for the Senior Project Manager position is initially until 31/3/26 with potential to extend, operating inside IR35.
Security Clearance: Developed Vetting ("DV Clearance")
This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.
Role Profile/Responsibilities:
This role is for a Senior Project Manager with experience in complex civils/construction/infrastructure/nuclear environments. You will not be delivering projects and this would not suit an IT Project Manager.
You will be using your expertise to provide assurances to ongoing projects - there are a lot of new build projects, construction and re-kit projects being undertaken. Successful candidates need experience of reviewing projects delivered by others.
- Have experience working complex Nuclear/Infrastructure/Construction projects, in complex environments
- Reviewing projects to assure and provide feedback/suggestions NOT delivering or managing projects
- Have previous experience of reviewing projects delivered and managed by others
- 5+ Years Project Manager experience
- Led a team
- Stakeholder Management skills
- Experience leading reviews/providing assurance on projects
Desirable
- Project Manager qualifications/Membership of Professional bodies
- Nuclear/Construction/Civils highly regulated environment background would be beneficial
