Job Title: Workshop Controller
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 basic - OTE £37,000
Hours: Monday to Friday
Hawkfield Recruitment is working with a well-established, West Midlands based, family-owned dealer group. We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller to join the team at their Walsall Dealership.
We are looking for talented individuals to take the business to the next level. Responsibilities of Workshop Controller include:
- Ensuring Business targets and objectives are met, while managing and mentoring a team of technicians and apprentice
- Working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless service for the customer
- Scheduling work to meet the customers needs, taking into account the complexity of the job, workshop targets and timings.
- Recording technician times and writing reports and recommendations
- Ensuring warranty and manufacturer standards are adhered to
- Ensuring all service and repair work is carried out on time
- Ordering Parts
- Ensuring our technicians are delivering a 'first time' fix
- Assisting technician with queries and technical challenges to identify a solution
Requirements for Workshop Controller:
- Qualified Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Equivalent
- Previous experience working on a wide variety of vehicles
- Good diagnostics skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience working in a Dealership environment
- Full UK Driving Licence
