Butler Rose are pleased to be working with a fast-growing accountancy firm who are looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join their dedicated team. This is a flexible role covering all areas of General Practice to help support clients.
Role Responsibilities
- Accounts preparation for a portfolio of clients including Limited companies, Sole traders and Partnerships
- Banking reconciliation
- VAT returns (quarterly & monthly)
- Bookkeeping
- Completion of tax returns, both personal and corporation
- Liaising with clients and attending meetings to assess client needs
Personal Requirements
- ACA/ACCA Qualified with a minimum of 3 years' experience working within public practice
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
