Management Accountant

We Do Group are excited to partner with a fast-growing tech company. Following recent acquisitions and ongoing growth, they are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance function.
We are looking for an accountant from a diverse accounting background. Ideally, you will have month-end experience and exposure to financial reporting. The Management Accountant will be responsible for producing monthly financials and providing key input into the reporting process, as well as presenting results to business stakeholders.
This role is suitable for someone who is actively studying and progressing towards their qualification, or someone who is recently qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
Role
- Monthly reporting of management accounts and key KPIs
- Responsible for general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation
- Financial and month end analysis and insight
- Responsible for regulatory filing requirements
- Support Finance Director in all areas of reporting
- Facilitation of annual external audit
- Coordination & collation of information required to support tax affairs and annual R&D claims
- Key contributor to process and system improvements
- Preparation and posting of journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Monitoring budget vs. actual performance and providing variance analysis
Profile
- Qualified Accountant or active studier
- Eye for detail with ability to see the bigger picture
- Pro-active self-starter with a curiosity mindset
- Collaborative working with different teams across the business
- Good awareness of financial reporting requirements
- Good IT skills including the ability to automate routine tasks as much as possible thereby freeing up time for more value add activity
