Position: Programmer/Setter/Operator
Salary: Between £18 to £22 per hour, depending on experience, plus overtime at time and a half plus benefits
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am till 4pm and Friday 6am till 1pm
Location: Commutable from Camberley, Bracknell, Farnborough, Farnham, Guildford, Aldershot and surrounding areas

Responsibilities
The role will involve programming, setting and operating various machinery (including CNC, Mazak, etc.), to set up and prepare materials and tooling for upcoming jobs, working from engineering drawings to produce precision spec components for clients in the aerospace and automotive industry.
- Program, set and operate CNC turning/mill machines;
- Change machine setting from one job to another within a set time frame;
- Meet desired quantities, conducting in-process inspection and checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately and to the highest standards;
- Maintaining updated records, including status/verification of work instructions (works orders);
- Deal with technical queries where possible, as and when required;
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand programs;
- Able to use micrometres, verniers and other inspection equipment to check work to drawing dimensions and validation sheets;
- Qualification in engineering or similar field with 3 - 5 years' relevant experience in a similar industry/role.
- Good math and technical skills.
- Knowledge and experience of systematic problem solving
- Be proactive and a great team player.
- Be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet target deadlines.
