A large organisation in Salisbury is looking for a Lead Informatics Business Partner to join their busy team.
Purpose Of The Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving data literacy and data governance for the client, embedding the use of self-service Business Intelligence (BI) and engaging divisions to guide them toward data driven decision making.
The role will support the organisation with information analysis, interpretation of complex data sets and will focus on statistical and predictive analytics.
The candidate will be expected to analyse complex information from various sources.
They will need to be proficient in using SQL for data extraction and be able to interpret data using various methods e.g. Excel pivot tables and formulae. The candidate will be expected to make judgements upon the reliability of data, identify trends and special/normal.
Responsibilities
- To provide support and guidance to the Business Intelligence Team, contributing to the development of the service to ensure that it meets the organisations core business objective
- To lead the team in advising others on the use of analysis and presentation of data
- Act as advocate for the promotion and development of information usage across the organisation, promoting a culture of informed decision making
- Assist with the development of SOPs and ensure these are maintained, reducing the risk of single points of failure
What You Will Need
Be experienced in creating reports in Powerbi and have an understanding of statistical process control (SPC) chart.
SQL knowledge is preferable
Experienced in working with and managing complex data sets
